Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the management of our nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for early years education. The Deputy Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations, staff management, and the implementation of a curriculum that foster children's development.

Responsibilities



Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery. Support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and early years education. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards. Foster a positive environment for children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Manage staff and support team members in delivering our curriculum in a exciting and engaging way. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and nursery activities. Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery. Participate in recruitment processes and contribute to staff training sessions.

Skills



Strong background in childcare with experience of implementing and monitoring the curriculum. An in-depth understanding of the EYFS and the Statutory Framework Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,560.00 per year
