Summary

As the Deputy Manager at Three Bears Day Nursery, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management team and overseeing the daily operations of our nursery. This position is essential in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development while building strong partnerships with parents.

Responsibilities

Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery. Support Room Leaders in delivering high-quality early years education following the EYFS framework. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies. Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers through effective communication. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education. Manage staff performance, providing guidance and support as needed. Contribute to the development of nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and EYFS framework. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage teams effectively while promoting a positive working environment. Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
