Deputy Nursery Manager



Busy Nought to Fives Ltd Nursery are seeking a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager for a key leadership role to support the Nursery Manager and to join our thriving nursery setting in Liverpool City Centre.

We are a well established nursery setting where our highly experienced, dedicated team support children to grow and develop at their own pace. The nursery is a place where children feel secure, nurtured, and settled, building healthy attachments.

We strive to help children develop confidence, independence and develop a positive 'can do' attitude to learning.

Our Ideal Person



Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe. Be qualified to Level 3 or above and have at least 2 years post qualification experience with leadership responsibilities. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Be able to work well in a team. Experience of general Nursery administration. Experience of liaising with professional bodies e.g. Ofsted, local authorities and training providers. Have a proactive, flexible and positive attitude.

What you'll do



As Deputy Nursery Manager you will be working to assist the Nursery Manager whilst also working as part of the team with the children.

To be responsible for identifying and meeting the individual needs of the children in your care. You will provide positive experiences in an environment that offers all-round enrichment to meet the children's needs.

To assume the role of Manager in the nursery in the Manager's absence, undertaking all duties relevant to the role. To attend relevant staff meetings, management meetings, and training events necessary for the safe and effective operation of the setting.
Throughout your work, you will build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers and actively support the Nursery Manager and the nursery team in providing a safe and secure environment.

This role is offered as 40 hours per week, 51 weeks a year basis (Monday to Friday)

Wage: From 13.33 per hour
