We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our dynamic early years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and passionate individual to play a central role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, working closely with the Nursery Manager to deliver outstanding care and education.
As Deputy Manager, you will help lead the team, uphold high standards, and ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating, and welcoming place for every child to thrive.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the effective leadership and daily operations of the nursery
Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting professional development and best practice
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
Support with curriculum planning, ensuring activities meet the needs of individual children
Maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals
Oversee compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued
About You:
Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (required)
Experience in a senior or supervisory role within a nursery or early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for early years education
