About the Role



We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Deputy Nursery Manager

to join our dedicated early years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and early education.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the setting, support and guide staff, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities



Support the daily management and leadership of the nursery Supervise, coach and develop staff to ensure consistent standards of care and learning Uphold strong safeguarding and health and safety practices across the setting Contribute to planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum Build and maintain professional, positive relationships with families and external partners Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory frameworks Promote a culture of inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement for staff and children

About You



Essential Requirements:



Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare Previous experience in a nursery leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and early years legislation Excellent communication, organisational and team leadership skills A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to best practice

Desirable:



Experience contributing to Ofsted inspections Familiarity with nursery administration and operational compliance A passion for supporting staff development and creating a strong learning culture

Pay: Up to 36,600.00 per year
