This is an ideal opportunity for a highly experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable Early Years Practitioners who is looking for a new challenge, to work as part of a dynamic, supportive management team. Your role is to support, develop and maximise the talent and experience of the staff team which includes experienced early years practitioners, specialist teachers and Forest School staff who deliver unique child led educational learning programmes.
Your responsibilities are:
To work in partnership with our Nursery Developers and Management Team
To work in partnership with staff to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
To work in partnership with parents/ carers.
To promote, develop and enable staff to offer a stimulating environment for children following the values and pedagogical approaches of the setting.
To mentor, coach and support the development of staff and students.
Qualifications and experience:
Minimum of a relevant and recognised Level 5 or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 2 years senior/ room leader/management experience.
Current knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
Excellent organisational skills.
Experience of SEND
Current knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Current knowledge of Ofsted's welfare standards.
People management skills is a must with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team.
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice.
Drive and ambition to develop the provision.
A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning opportunities.
A positive,approachable disposition.
This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.

Full time hours are 40 working between 7:30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday Opportunity to work 4 long days with a rest day.
