Job Purpose
As a key management member of the Teddybear Childcare;
To support the leadership and management of the delivery of high-quality early learning and care for all children.

Role Requirements
Full or equivalent SVQ/Degree Qualification in Early Learning and Childcare.
Evidence of career long professional learning and full participation in professional update.
Evidence of experience in successfully leading and managing change and securing nursery improvements.
Demonstrable experience in senior leadership post in an appropriate setting.
Experience of senior management responsibility in appropriate educational environment.
Knowledge of the cycle of nursery improvement planning and resource allocation improvement processes and procedures.
Knowledge of the operation of effective self- evaluation for improvement, quality improvement processes and procedures.
Clear working knowledge of current initiatives and priorities in early learning and childcare.
Effective management of human resourcing matters including employee relations and health and safety.

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Registration with SSSC; holds or is working towards appropriate SVQ qualification or BA degree in Childhood Practice (or equivalent)
PVG Membership for Regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults
