Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in the overall leadership and smooth daily running of the setting
Mentor and guide early years staff, promoting a positive team culture and professional development
Help implement a rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
Build positive, trusting relationships with families, keeping them informed and engaged
Contribute to staff rotas, budgeting, and general nursery operations
Foster an inclusive, stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification (or higher)
in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential)
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding policies, and statutory guidance
Excellent communication, team leadership and organisational skills
A child-centred approach and a passion for delivering outstanding early education
