The Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the setting. You'll provide both hands-on leadership and strategic support, helping your team deliver exceptional early years education and care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of practitioners Supporting the planning and delivery of an engaging EYFS curriculum Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards are consistently met Building positive, lasting relationships with parents and carers Assisting with staffing, rotas, and budget management Creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment for all children
About You

We're looking for a confident, enthusiastic leader with a genuine passion for early years care and education.

You'll need:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Experience in a supervisory or management role within a nursery Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and compliance requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to high-quality childcare
