Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards in care and education
Lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding EYFS-aligned practice
Contribute to curriculum planning and ensure learning experiences are tailored to individual needs
Mentor and support staff through regular feedback, training and development
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
Support occupancy growth by engaging prospective families and conducting showarounds
Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
Manage operational challenges with professionalism, confidence, and a solution-focused mindset
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential)
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an early years setting
Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding responsibilities, and nursery compliance requirements
Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills
A child-focused approach and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
The ability to lead by example and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
