At Salford Family Nurseries we have 5 fantastic settings which are based at Barton Moss, Belvedere, Little Hulton, Higher Broughton and Winton. Please note that the exact work location will be decided at a later stage.

About the Role

The role of Deputy Nursery Manager is a critical part of the leadership team within Salford family nurseries. The role requires a experienced Ea who can:


Lead and inspire a team of passionate Early Educators Ensure the highest standards of care and education for all children Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, inclusive environment Provide exceptional support for children with SEND, working closely with families and external professionals ability to act as Nursery SENCO

About you

You will be a dynamic and enthusiastic leader with a passion for early years education, who has:

A full and relevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above A minimum 2 years post qualifying experience of working in early years Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good knowledge of the Early years Foundation Stage A commitment to safeguarding, supporting children with SEND and promoting inclusive practice

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently 49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months' salary payments at a rate of 12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of 49.50.
