As a Deputy Manager

you will support the Manager and the team to build strong parent partnerships, create bonds with the children and explore their love of playing and learning. You will develop and maintain curriculums and enabling environments, to assist in progressive learning opportunities.

Skills:



Effective verbal communicator with all parties, including child, parent/carer, and colleagues. Ability to produce well-written reports and maintain clear accurate records Effective team player Strong leadership skills Good time management, organisational skills and good IT skills, A positive, pro-active and solution-based approach to leadership. Empathy & understanding Ability to work on own initiative

Qualification and experience:



Minimum level 3 qualification in Children & Young Peoples Workforce or higher Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Allergens, H&S, Prevent, Safeguarding DSL Sound knowledge of EYFS requirements Sound knowledge of OFSTED requirements and particularly requirements for
achieving an 'Outstanding' Grade

Sound Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work Extensive Knowledge of Safeguarding issues

Desire to continue own learning and development



Primary duties:



Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments to ensure the Health and Safety of the setting; children in occupation; staff and visitors Develop and maintain good parent relations Liaise with the Customer Engagement Manager in developing and hosting parent engagement initiatives. Maintain Policies & Procedures in Nursery. Undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time across the Company
Job Type: Term- Time only 8:30am-4pm
