We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and passionate PCE-CfD therapist to step into a Deputy Service Lead role within a brand-new NHS Talking Therapies service, launching in October 2025.



As Deputy Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping a compassionate, effective, and innovative service designed to make a real difference to adults experiencing common mental health problems.


About the Role:



In this leadership role, you will:


Support the Service Lead in the strategic and operational delivery of the new Talking Therapies service Provide clinical supervision and line management to a team of PCE-CfD and other modality-trained therapists Maintain a small clinical caseload to support high-quality, client-centred care Work closely with local partners, commissioners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and service accessibility Promote a culture of reflective practice, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement

About You:



We're looking for a confident and experienced professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.



You will have:


A

PCE-CfD qualification

(Postgraduate training in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression) Accreditation with BACP or another relevant professional body Experience working within NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) or similar mental health services Strong leadership or supervisory experience (or a desire to develop these skills further) A passion for evidence-based practice, staff development, and service innovation
