We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Manager to support the operational efficiency of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance our supply chain processes. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our team meets its objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Duties
Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Ensure vehicles are planned in for Maitenence in line with providers agreements.
Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the supply chain.
Maintain accurate records and documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to foster positive relationships.
Support customer service initiatives by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes to ensure effective communication within the team.
Drive projects that enhance operational performance, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Monitor team performance, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Management CPC with good knowledge of transport rules & regulations
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional relationships.
Experience in supply chain management is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A proactive approach with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
