Fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Design Manager to join a very successful, international specialist in the design and delivery of data centres.

This is a great job working with a multinational, telecommunications company as they continue to deliver data centres around the globe. They are looking to hire a Design Manger from an architectural background, who is experienced in delivering \'mission critical\' buildings (ideally data centres, but also pharmaceutical/healthcare/complex industrial/defence buildings) whilst working the UK.

You will be required to steer and guide the external Design Consultants and Contractors, to ensure they deliver a design to meet the requirements of the Design Brief, periodically assessing and evaluating all project related design decisions presented by consultants and contractors with support if required from Senior DCS staff. You will also provide engineering support to Senior staff to define site specific conditions, infrastructure design, costs and liaison with local authorities. Occasional overseas travel will be involved, whilst you will be able to work from home regularly as well attend the modern, London office.

You should manage the Design Programme to ensure on time creation and review of Employers Requirements (ER\'s), tender information and design documentation issued for planning and Construction.
You will work hand-in-hand with more senior staff, delivery managers, general contractors and subcontractors to deliver projects during construction and ensure projects are fully documented and closed out, but also supporting the Project managers to drive project programmes while working closely with the other design Engineers and construction team to ensure milestones and completion dates are on track.
