We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with experience in managing kitchen operations. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality dishes while ensuring that food safety standards are met. Your leadership and team management skills will be essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food presentation and quality, making adjustments as necessary. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests.
