Development Manager

London

40-70k (performance based bonus up to 100% of salary)

Hybrid Working (2-3 Office days per week)

Our client has a strong track record in planning, development, and investment. They

have strategic partners who bring deep expertise in placemaking, urban

regeneration and real estate transformation.

They are looking for a Development Manager to join the mission to re-define urban

living. With a particular focus on the younger generation, the company specialises in

co-living and alternative housing solutions.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a commercially driven professional to play a central role

in shaping and growing a pipeline of impactful developments across the rental and

hospitality sector.

If you have experience in managing the full development lifecycle as well as strong

skills in financial appraisals, planning regulations, and stakeholder management,

particularly within the Coliving / BTR, PBSA, or hotel sectors. We would love to

discuss this position with you further.

Essential Requirements

? Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of real estate development experience,

specifically in Build-to-Rent (BTR), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation

(PBSA), or hotels.

? Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage multiple development

projects simultaneously.

? Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of planning policies, design

principles, construction processes, and development financing.

? Financial Acumen: Experience in financial appraisals, cost planning, and

investment analysis.

? Legal & Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with JCT contracts, land

acquisition agreements, and legal due diligence.

Desirable Requirements

? Experience working with institutional investors, private equity, or JV

partners.

? Knowledge of modular construction, sustainable development, and smart

building technologies.

? RICS, RTPI, or CIOB membership (or working towards accreditation).

Qualifications

? Degree in Real Estate, Construction, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a

related field.

? Postgraduate qualification (MSc/MBA)
