MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE JOB





This is an exciting new role within our growing marketing team, as we elevate our leadership in the UK and continue to raise our game across all channels -- especially digital.



As Digital Brand Manager, you'll be the essential bridge between our digital, brand and creative teams, helping to tell the Optibac story and highlighting our scientific credentials in a busy and fast-evolving market. You'll have a strong track record across Meta and TikTok (paid and organic) and be focused on elevating the consumer journey across our D2C ecosystem. Being on top of digital trends and developments in AI is a must.



Whilst finding someone who can be as passionate about our brand as we are is are is our top priority, we're also looking for experience in creative development and the skills to lead our talented in-house creative team. Equally as important, is the ability to work through and understand the performance side of our digital marketing, so that assets can be optimised and new opportunities jumped on.



We're looking for someone who's not only passionate about our brand, but also experienced in leading creative development and team management. We need someone that is equally comfortable developing big-picture strategies and getting into the nitty gritty of our performance across digital as jumping into the fast-paced execution.



Flexibility is essential at Wren Laboratories, with all teams working closely together to support and develop the 'Optibac' brand, so occasional additional support duties may be required in other areas of the business.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Development




Work with our brand and design teams to build a creative roadmap for our digital channels that delivers against our brand communications plan and the wider company strategy. Partner with the digital team to produce and optimise creative assets for paid social, while ensuring organic content supports the wider customer journey. Look at how we can use the latest developments in AI to support our workload and improve performance, plus stay up to date on other digital trends and competitor activity. Support with creative ideas where needed to deliver key brand led multi-channel marketing initiatives in the annual calendar. Champion a test-and-learn approach across digital platforms, using A/B testing and analytics to optimise creative and messaging.



Team Management & Talent Development




Lead and inspire our talented in-house creative team (designers, photographers and videographers) and encourage a culture of curiosity that embraces self-learning, career development and high performance. Oversee the creative team's workflow in collaboration with our Marketing Executive, ensuring deadlines and priorities are managed effectively. Help manage relationships with external creatives, freelancers and agencies.



Social Media




Play a central role in growing our digital brand presence across both paid and organic social channels. Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimize paid media performance through effective creative briefing and funnel-based analysis. Own key digital brand performance metrics and use insights to inform creative and support with the direction of our media strategy Champion organic social by ensuring it reflects our brand story, enhances the customer journey, and receives the strategic focus it deserves. Oversee content calendars and the timely rollout of campaigns. Evolve our influencer and creator led marketing and brand partnerships to drive digital growth.



Brand Experience




Collaborate with brand, design, content, and digital teams to ensure consistency in tone, visuals, and storytelling across all touchpoints. Work with UX, e-commerce, and digital teams to continuously improve the customer journey. Help bring the brand to life across D2C platforms -- ensuring they reflect our leadership, values, and science-led purpose while creating an engaging shopping experience for our most loyal customers.


Collaboration




Foster strong working relationships across departments to ensure cohesive brand expression across all digital platforms. Partner with our International Marketing Manager and global teams to share assets, insights, and best practices. Support global growth by contributing to international workshops, presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.



DESIRABLE SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES




A positive collaborator who slots easily into a close-knit team of brand champions. Someone who values hard work and always being there for their team. Exceptional project manager with proven cross-functional collaboration skills. Familiarity with project management tools like Basecamp, Asana and or Trello Someone who is happy to get on with the 'doing' and quickly power through activation tasks, as well as manage the bigger picture planning part of the role. Excellent track record across leading digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), brand management and driving creative efforts. Proficient in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) with the ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategy and creative briefs. A strategic thinker and creative storyteller with a sharp eye for detail and design. Comfortable using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or video editing software (useful, but not essential).



KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE




Minimum 5 years of experience in digital and brand marketing. Experience with Meta Business Suite and TikTok marketing (organic and paid). A marketing-related degree or diploma (advantageous but not essential). Strong command of written and spoken English at a professional level.
