About this Role

The role of Digital Content Assistant will report into the Digital Project Manager and support the Marketing team. You will be responsible for creating and developing all aspects of digital content including filming and editing video assets to support the schools; including all internal and external marketing communications (social media channels, admission related materials, and all required materials for major school events such as open days and fundraising days).

You will also manage administrative tasks required by the team alongside the Marketing Assistant. Both the Digital Content Assistant and Marketing Assistant will work closely together and as the brand guardians will need to ensure online and offline creative concepts are carried through the whole department. You will have an eye for detail, multi-tasker with good project management skills and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:



Marketing -

To support the Digital Project Manager and meet regularly with other departments to develop new digital marketing solutions

To implement our tone of voice across all internal and external communications

To create and adapt templates for digital executions

Digital -

Support the Digital Project Manager and execute the digital marketing strategy (including email marketing, SEO / GEO for website and social media content

Supporting the day to day running, any improvements of the school websites and social media channels

Confident in creating social and web copy capturing the slight differences in tone based on the platform

Supporting the Admissions recruitment needs with bespoke content on socials

To support the analysis of social media, preparing monthly reports

Managing external supplies; photographers, web agency and production companies

Photography and videography -

To assist with the photography guidelines and application

Support the Digital Project Manager with the creation of all briefs, planning and booking in external photographers to ensure all projects at both schools are covered within budget and on brief

Support, if necessary, with photography at events across the school and being able to edit and adapt for social media

Creation of video content long or shortform

Organise the professional photos and save in the correct locations

About You



We are looking for an approachable and enthusiastic character with a can do attitude and happy getting involved in things beyond their job description. You should be confident communicating with various staff members of all levels and willing to learn and adapt their approach. You should be comfortable in a busy and face-paced environment.

This is an entry level role with an A Level, T Level or Btec Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Photography (or relevant equivalent)[TT1]

You will need to be comfortable approaching students and staff members spontaneously and confidently to be able to film and question them for social content.

Always staying current and finding efficient and new ways to represent the school
