We're looking for a
Digital Content Assistant
who shares our passion for the outdoors, tactical culture, and purpose-built kit. If you're a creative individual with strong video and photography skills, and you thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments -- this could be for you.
The Role
This is a dual-focus position combining
digital content creation
with
studio and field production
. You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager to help
drive social media presence
,
brand storytelling
, and
product visibility across multiple platforms
and outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, shoot, edit, and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, YT Shorts, X (Twitter), Pinterest, TikTok, and Reddit.
Assist in managing our social media calendar and campaign planning.
Produce high-quality product photography (studio & lifestyle), including flat lays and action shots.
Support in-studio shoots and on-location productions with influencers and third-party creators.
Edit and deliver video content such as product showcases, vlogs, practical tutorials, and social media reels.
Help organise and maintain our content library and digital assets.
Contribute creative ideas aligned with the Arktis brand identity and voice.
Create content calendars aligned with launches, campaigns, and key dates.
Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience in video production (minimum 1 year).
Strong portfolio showcasing photography and videography work.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign).
Ability to shoot and edit for multiple formats and platforms (vertical, square, widescreen).
Experience photographing products for ecommerce.
Attention to detail, good visual storytelling skills, and a strong grasp of visual composition.
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Conducting research on industry trends, competitor content, and audience preferences.
Desirable:
Experience with Da Vinci Resolve.
Video drone experience.
Set dressing and prop styling capabilities.
Understanding of content marketing and brand strategy.
Previous experience creating content for tactical, military, or outdoor sectors.
Former military or police service or familiarity with tactical gear is a strong bonus.
