Job Description


The Penguin Random House UK Ebook Operations team are looking for a Digital Distribution Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

In this role, you\'ll be responsible for the successful and timely distribution of our Penguin Random House ebooks and audiobooks to our aggregator, Coresource, and onward to PRH retailers.

  • You will pro-actively manage relationships with key external retailers and partners while striving for operational excellence, offering a \xe2\x80\x9cbest in class\xe2\x80\x9d digital supply chain.
  • You will ensure the maximum number of titles are on sale with our key retailers through reporting and project managing any technical or metadata related issues.
  • You will act as the main point of contact with Coresource, leading on monthly calls, setting up new retailers and championing development proposals for the benefit of the supply chain.
  • You will also be the first port of call for Sales on all ebook and audiobook retailer operational issues.
  • Your main internal stakeholders will be the Ebook, Audio, Sales, Bibliographic and ONIX teams, so being able to work proactively and efficiently are key for this position, as are excellent communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Ebook and Audio publishing and awareness of key retailers
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
  • Experience working with Biblio would be advantageous
The team:

The Ebook Operations department oversees the conversion and quality checking of all ebooks across PRH, working closely with print Production and external suppliers. We are also responsible for the distribution of all PRH ebooks and audiobooks to retailers.

We combine creativity, technical and design know-how and meticulous attention-to-detail to produce industry-leading ebooks from PRH\'s vast and diverse publishing list.

Careful management of relationships with suppliers, distributors and retailers allows us to create quality at scale, making our ebooks available to the widest audience possible, with a strong focus on accessibility.

Salary: \xc2\xa332,800 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role
