We're looking for a

Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Executive

to take our brand presence to the next level. You'll be the engine behind our digital marketing -- from crafting engaging social content, to supporting bespoke projects for our sales team or managing our e-commerce and website platforms, in this is a stand-alone role, you will have full creative autonomy! You'll also play a key role in organising events, influencer partnerships, and creating marketing assets that actually get used!

What You'll Be Doing:

Social Media Savvy:

Own our social channels - you will plan, post, engage, and track the success of our social media engagement. Whether it's behind-the-scenes videos or just chatting with our plumber community on TikTok, you'll make us relatable and real.

Email Campaigns:

Design, build and send targeted killer email campaigns via Zoho (think Mailchimp, but better data).

Custom Creative Support:

Design slick PDFs and brochures to support our awesome team of Area Sales Managers. You'll have the freedom to use your creative flare to brand it better than they ever imagined.

Website & eCommerce:

You will keep our WordPress sites looking sharp, listings fresh, and SEO strong. Light Google Ads maintenance too (we've already got it ticking over).

Analytics & Reporting:

You will use Zoho and Google Analytics to track engagement, performance and ROI across all platforms.

Events & Exhibitions:

You will get hands-on with planning and promotion of events, from breakfast mornings to the annual Installer Show at the NEC - you'll be in the thick of the organisation and may even get to appear as our life-size branded SNUG pink duck!

Influencer Relationships:

You will collaborate with content creators and maintain our growing network of plumbing influencers.

Customer Support:

You will be the friendly face when our customers reach out via our socials or our marketing mailbox to share valuable feedback - you won't fix the tech, but you'll keep the conversation smooth and organise a fix with those who can.

Administration:

There is definitely an administrative side to this role, so a willingness to embrace this is necessary.

What You Bring to the Table:

You will have a portfolio of standout content to share with us that oozes creativity and demonstrates your ability to work on your own initiative, whilst at the same time ensuring you meet the brief and stay 'on brand' (videos, posts, campaigns -- show us what you've got!) Confident Adobe Creative Suite skills and a passion for video content as our audiences love it when we engage this way! (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign - Premier Pro & After Effects) You will be confident and articulate with prior marketing experience, whether that be from a previous role or through your freelancing business, we will be keen to see and hear about your prior marketing experience Experience with Zoho would be a bonus, but similar email/social scheduling tools is fine! Strong copywriting and awesome attention to detail - you'll be writing everything from pricelists to technical guidance documents or informational brochures Proactive mindset and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude - we are a small to medium sized business who value collaboration and multi-tasking to get the job done Customer-first approach with a genuine, approachable tone online and offline You will live in or around the Preston area - long commutes are no fun for anyone, and this isn't a hybrid role You don't need to have a qualification in marketing (although if you have, that's a bonus) - hands on experience and creativity is what we are looking for!
