We are the marketing automation experts for Salesforce and HubSpot, providing marketing teams our technical resource and expertise.



As a small business of 20 people, we are a close-knit team and everyone plays an important role in pushing the business forward. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our marketing function and play a direct role in driving the next stage of our growth.



As a business, we market ourselves to marketers so there is a need for a clever, self-aware and tactful approach to how we communicate with our audience who are often very senior and experienced marketing professionals.

Role Overview





We are looking for an experienced B2B Digital Marketing Manager who is keen to get hands-on and take over our marketing function. Your ultimate goal is to position MarCloud as a thought-leader and generate more MQL's for sales to follow up on.



This role is office-based because marketing is what we do and it is important that you absorb the MarCloud culture from our office team so you are set up for success. We are very friendly towards work-from-home so once you are settled and thriving in role, you can take a flexible approach to where you work.



You will work closely with our Founder and CEO who will be handing over marketing to you. He will help you get up to speed on our current automation set up in Account Engagement (Pardot), brand guidelines, tone of voice and what has worked for us so far. Beyond this, the baton will be passed to you.



A core part of your role will be to own HubSpot, increase our presence on LinkedIn, share thought leadership content, drive webinars and generate leads for our business development representative to proactively call.



We have many enterprise-grade marketing tools at your disposal including Pardot, HubSpot, Canva, Livestorm, Ahrefs, Lucidchart and you will make a decision on which tools are the best fit for your marketing strategy.



You will have support from our outsourced digital marketing specialist on SEO, website, paid ads and content creation.

Key Responsibilities





Lead generation:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns in HubSpot to drive inbound leads and support outbound sales activity.

Marketing automation:

Manage HubSpot workflows and email automation to nurture prospects and support the customer journey. You can be creative with CTA's, landing pages and forms to drive more engagement. You will be creating dashboards and reports to show marketing performance and impact on revenue.

Content marketing:

Create high-quality content, including blogs, case studies, guides, landing pages and video.

Events:

Organise and promote both online (webinars) and offline (roundtables, industry events) marketing-led events.

Social media:

Own our LinkedIn strategy, posting regular, relevant thought-leadership content to grow our presence and engagement.

Website & SEO:

Maintain and improve key landing pages and blog content in line with SEO best practice (support is available via our outsourced digital marketing specialist).

Brand:

Strengthen and evolve the MarCloud brand as the go-to authority in Salesforce marketing automation.

Performance reporting:

Use HubSpot/Pardot and Salesforce to report on marketing performance and ROI.



Requirements




Clear B2B marketing experience, ideally within a marketing agency or professional services environment. Has a natural distaste for pure AI-generated content for marketing purposes Writes like a human and can connect to senior marketing decision-makers Hands-on experience using HubSpot for marketing automation, campaign reporting and lead nurturing. Proven ability to manage marketing projects and events independently from start to finish. Highly organised, proactive, and commercially aware. Salesforce experience is a plus, but not essential.
