Potts Print UK is a high-quality print manufacturer based in Cramlington, Northumberland. We are the largest privately-owned printing company in the North of England.

Potts' Operations Division is looking for an experienced Digital Print Operative to join our ever-expanding and experienced team. This is a full-time, permanent position working 36 hours per week at our HQ site in Cramlington, Northumberland.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our suite of digital printing presses to produce high quality printed materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Daily duties will include:

Set up and operation of Canon and Xerox digital printing full colour and mono presses to produce a wide variety of printed items including brochures, packaging, flyers and posters. Monitor printing processes to ensure quality and consistency throughout the print run. Adjust press settings, ink and paper feed needed to achieve desired results. Perform routine maintenance on the printing presses to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process. Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Being able to manage multiple jobs and tasks simultaneously and be able to adjust immediately to changing priorities. Communicate with other departments during the production process. awareness and adherence to the Company's Quality, Health and Safety, Hygiene and Environmental Policies and Procedures to maintain and safe work environment. Coach and mentor fellow employees.

Requirements

Experience operating digital printing presses is essential for this role. Previous experience running Canon iX3200 and/or Xerox Iridesse/Nuvera's is highly desirable. Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate printing presses effectively. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Attention to detail. Knowledge and experience of maintaining health & safety, quality and hygiene controls within a manufacturing environment. Ability to work 12-hour shift rotation and overtime as required. Experience with manual handling

Working hours

12-hour shift rotation - 2 weeks Mon/Tues/Wed 06.00-18.00 & 2 weeks Thurs/Fri/Sat 06.00-18.00
