As the lead for digital sales and marketing insights in a small tech business, your primary mission is to engage and assist with securing new online clients to an agreed marketing strategy. Enthused by the intersection of website analytics and how SEO campaigns influence new engagements within a business, you will be personally responsible for all aspects of online sales, from content design of web pages, lead generation demonstrated by close analytical monitoring to the nurturing of online opportunities to become loyal customers. This role is ideal for a digital marketing analyst who is ready to demonstrate that their technical content will translate to online interactions and ultimately sales.
Detailed Duties
- Identify and develop new online opportunities through lead generation methods. Updating our CRM with new opportunities as appropriate.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential changes to the marketing strategy.
- Excellent writing skills to draft text for company collateral (email templates, website content such as landing pages, blogs) following our branding guidelines.
- Responding to prospect enquiries in a timely manner as they progress through the sales funnel.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis through fortnightly presentation of website performance analysis and CRM sales figures.
Qualifications:
While not mandatory, experience in a technology based B2B sales environment, particularly within the domain of cloud-oriented software and software infrastructure, is highly valued. Confidence to run social media campaigns as well as meet and discuss product features with potential leads is important. HTML and CSS knowledge is also important along with strong written communication skills.
