We are seeking a visionary and skilled clinical leader to join us as Director of Clinical Services, driving transformative therapeutic education for neurodiverse young people.
You'll be an HCPC-registered clinician (e.g., Clinical/Educational Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Creative Arts Psychotherapist) with extensive experience supporting children with SEMH, ASC, and related needs.
We're looking for strategic insight and strong clinical leadership. A Master's or Doctorate is preferred, along with a track record in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and therapeutic approaches.
As Director, you'll lead our Great Minds Training & Therapy Service, delivering therapy, training, and whole-system support to schools, families, and professionals.

The Complete Education Solution (TCES)
TCES is an independent social enterprise, providing specialist therapeutic education based in London supporting exceptional neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 19 who have special educational needs and disabilities typically associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs and associated disorders. Most of them will have experienced multiple placement breakdowns and significant trauma, often resulting in behaviour that challenges. On average pupils will have been excluded from other provisions up to three times before reaching us and had significant periods out of education.
TCES pupils learn at one of our two schools, at our Create Learning Primary, through our Create in the Community service or within our National Online School; our Create services support our most complex and vulnerable pupils, with highly differentiated and personalised holistic therapeutic education programmes developed for each pupil focusing on development milestones. When they are ready, we aim for pupils to step down from Create into one of our main school, our Sixth Form, or into mainstream provisions.
Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:
An appropriate degree level professional qualification in a therapeutic specialism (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Creative Arts Psychotherapy or Family Therapy).
Current HCPC Registration.
Masters qualification in a relevant subject (D).
Membership of a British/Royal Association of Therapeutic specialism (e.g. RCOT, RSaLT).
Evidence of relevant recent professional development for the role of Director of Clinical Services.
Recent experience
Substantial and relevant successful leadership experience as an executive clinician of a company or group of services delivering therapy and client therapeutic development. Working within an educational trust or group of settings would be desirable.
Experience working in or collaborating with relevant multi-disciplinary teams across education, social care and clinical, working in collaboration with professionals and the wider community to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people.
Knowledge of clinical conditions within child and adolescence mental health, as well as NICE guidelines relevant to mental health practice.
Knowledge of the principles and implementation of the Recovery Model.
Experience of leading services with complex cases, including planning and leading a range of individual and group sessions, co-facilitating and supporting clinical staff of a variety of grades.
Experience of clinical governance and service development.
Experience delivering training to a range of experienced / inexperienced staff through a variety of mediums.
Demonstrable record of sustained service improvement, raising of standards and company success.
Recent experience in the provision of consultation with, supporting and influencing senior leaders to make improvements to operational delivery of clinical services.
