Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a vital part of our culinary operation, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. This role is essential in supporting our Cooks/Chefs and Kitchen Staff, contributing to a smooth-running environment in our restaurant.

Duties:

Washing chinaware, glassware, cookware and kitchen utensils by hand or using a dishwasher Drying plates, pots and pans etc. Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps the dish area organised and free from clutter Cleaning ovens, fridges, cooker hoods and other kitchen equipment Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift Washing and disinfecting kitchen floors and surfaces Keeping kitchen clean and tidy Removing kitchen waste Follow all food safety and hygiene standards and procedures Providing assistance to Cooks/Chefs

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and kitchen safety Physical stamina to stand for long periods Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to help other Kitchen Staff Experience is preferred but not essential, training will be provided Weekend Working Hours: Friday, Saturday & Sunday Pay: Depends on experience
