About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse & Despatch Operative to join our growing team, working across two dynamic businesses within our group. Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, this hands-on role is vital to ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and despatch of orders for our valued retail and distribution partners.

Operating primarily in a warehouse environment, your responsibilities will include unloading shipping containers, picking and packing customer orders, preparing pallets for despatch, and contributing to the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse. You'll also collaborate closely with internal departments to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, pack, and despatch retail and distribution orders. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain an organised and well-kept warehouse. Unload shipping containers and handle goods safely and efficiently. Arrange courier collections and manage delivery logistics. Support other departments and assist in general warehouse duties as needed. Learn and operate systems including Amazon, DPD, and FedEx (training provided).

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a warehouse and/or despatch preferable but not essential. Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) preferred but not essential (training will be offered). Physically fit and capable of manual work, including lifting and moving stock. Confident using basic IT tools such as email, Excel, and warehouse systems. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks. Team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Pay: 23,500.00-24,500.00 per year
