Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and organized
Dispatch Clerk
to join our team at our envelope manufacturing site. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of finished goods, coordinating collections, and maintaining strong communication with both carriers and internal departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking deliveries with customers, working closely with Customer Service, and overseeing inbound goods. Experience in WMS is key, holding a valid Counterbalance driving license is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and prepare outbound deliveries in line with customer requirements and schedules.
Book deliveries directly with customers and coordinate specific delivery times or instructions.
Liaise daily with Customer Service to ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Communicate effectively with external carriers to book and manage collections.
Wave and process orders using the warehouse management system (WMS).
Pick, check, and stage orders ready for dispatch.
Oversee and check incoming deliveries (Goods In), ensuring correct quantities and quality.
Maintain accurate records for both goods in and out, including delivery notes and manifests.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the dispatch and goods-in areas.
Assist with stock control, inventory management, and other warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
Experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or logistics environment.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with carriers, customers, and internal teams
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with dispatch systems and basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, email, WMS)
Desirable:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of transport compliance, shipping paperwork, and customer booking processes
Holding a valid counterbalance driving license.

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Friday:
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
