to join the team based in
Liverpool.
You will be working on a
full time, permanent
basis, working Monday to Thursday nights and in return, you will receive a
highly
competitive salary of 30,213.52 per annum plus excellent company benefits!
The Dock Office Administrator role:
This is a fantastic role to really get your teeth into! Your role will be to work in partnership with transport and warehouse colleagues to ensure that incoming and outgoing deliveries are handled and stored correctly and that all relevant records are created and maintained.

Whether it's fresh consignments or frozen goods we have it covered! Langdons can deliver to almost any location in the UK or Ireland within 24 hours. We have 9 depots and over 375 lorries carrying chilled and frozen food all over the country. We're the only company providing a 24-hour service of this kind, and we're very good at it.

What you'll be doing as our Dock Office Administrator:
Act as key point of contact for despatch and receipt of customer goods
Co-ordinate all incoming driver documents and update all relevant electronic and manual records
Respond to customer queries, ensuring any discrepancies are recorded, investigated and resolved
Update relevant records and brief colleagues on stock movement progress
Conduct regular and ad hoc stock checks, escalating any issues to management in a timely manner
Advise and guide other colleagues where required
Provide cover for the Customer Service and Transport Teams where required
What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Dock Office Administrator?
Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
Extensive knowledge and application of health and safety procedures
What skills are we looking for in our Dock Office Administrator?
IT literate in Microsoft Office packages
Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
Ability to use initiative and be so organised that key tasks are completed fully and on time
Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines
High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven arithmetic skills
