Acer Gundog Training offers outdoor dog training in small group sessions and on an individual basis. Our clients come from all walks of life, and their dogs are either family pets or working gundogs.
Purpose of the Role
To support us in delivering the highest quality dog training in an interactive, relaxed, and sociable environment.
Initially, you will assist an experienced trainer to gain hands-on experience. As your confidence and ability grow, you will take on increasing responsibility within sessions and learn the skills required to become a competent trainer, capable of teaching the foundation levels of our gundog training programme to clients.
Experience & Qualifications
Professional dog training qualifications are not required at the outset. However, we welcome applicants with teaching or coaching experience in any field.
Experience in owning and training your own dog will be especially valuable (particularly if you have trained with Acer).
Applicants with an interest in country sports, or a countryside background, would be well suited to this role. Please note that the role involves working outdoors, throughout the year and in all weather conditions.
