Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented person with a background in Joinery to support our production team within our composite build area. You'll interpret technical drawings, be able to operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools, and ensure high standards of quality and precision. The role requires flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider production team.

Key Responsibilities



Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, cross-cut saws, spindle moulders, planer/thicknessers, and chain-mortisers (training will be provided if you do not have experience with specific equipment). Use hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, grinding, and routering. Read and interpret engineering drawings Mark out and assemble components using jigs and templates. Carry out quality checks and make adjustments to meet specification and finish standards. Maintain equipment and a clean, safe working environment. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet production targets.

About You



NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent qualification) is desirable. Hands-on experience in a joinery or manufacturing environment. Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools. Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve and work to tight tolerances. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Willing to support other departments based on business needs.

Additional Information



You must have the right to work in the UK. Role is subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks. Occasional flexibility in working hours may be required, including working overtime when required to support project deadlines.
