Driver/Stores Assistant/Labourer

Scope: To deliver and collect items from sub-contract companies, assist with the organisation of the raw material stores in accordance with current working practices, distribution of work into machine shop and general labouring duties.

Principal Duties:

Delivery and collection of goods from suppliers/sub-contractors when required. Loading and unloading goods. Booking in Materials Laying out materials to the production plan Distributing material into machine shop Emptying wheelie bins and general house keeping Maintaining spillage kits and hearing protectors Maintain the general tidiness/cleanliness of Factory 1

Other Duties:

Moving goods from one factory to another. Assisting the Company with general labourers tasks

Skills and Experience:

The ability to deal with all levels of staff. Able to follow written and verbal instructions Good communication skills The ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised. Slinging and Lifting / Crane Certificate/Experience desirable.

Qualifications:

Clean full driving licence. Forklift Truck licence - Counterbalance up to 5000 kilos Contract - Full Time, Permanent. Hours - 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Early finish on Fridays.
