Ea To Director

Hadleigh, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We are a fast-paced, entrepreneurial group operating across two businesses, including a trauma-informed residential care provider. We are looking for a trusted Executive Assistant who can operate with pace, discretion, emotional intelligence, and rigorous organisational discipline. This is an enabling role -- providing leverage, structure and clarity so the Director can focus on growth, people, and high-stakes delivery.

If you thrive in ambiguity, bring order to chaos, and enjoy being the operational heartbeat behind a busy founder, this role will suit you.

The Opportunity

You will act as a strategic partner to the Director -- managing priorities, orchestrating workflows, streamlining systems and processes, handling both commercial and private matters, and owning the day-to-day operations.

Your work will create stability, enable high-impact decisions, and enhance our ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for our teams and the children we serve. You will be joining a mission-centred organisation where integrity, kindness, and operational excellence go hand-in-hand.

We operate with pace, purpose, and heart. We are values-driven and expect our EA to reflect that in every interaction. You will be trusted, supported, and expected to deliver with maturity, calm, and a solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

:

Executive & Operational Support

Manage inboxes, calendars, workflows and competing priorities with precision, pace and judgement. Draft high-quality emails, letters and documents on behalf of the Director. Maintain disciplined digital filing and document control across Office 365, SharePoint and company systems.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as a trusted gatekeeper: triaging information, briefing the Director, and safeguarding time and energy. Support governance processes, track actions, hold colleagues to deadlines and drive operational follow-through. Represent the Director in meetings or calls where appropriate.

Tech & Systems Orchestration

Recommend and implement software tools (calendaring, CRM, project management, automation) to streamline operations. Build efficient workflows and ensure the wider team understands and adopts new systems.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Engage confidently with investors, partners, internal teams, regulators, and senior external stakeholders. Navigate challenging personalities with empathy, emotional intelligence and professional resilience.

Finance & Admin

Support light bookkeeping, invoicing, expense management, reconciliations and basic financial coordination. Support the Director with personal administration as required.

What You'll Bring

:

We are looking for a candidate who can operate several steps ahead -- someone proactive, commercially astute and emotionally grounded.

Essential

Experience supporting a fast-paced entrepreneur, CEO or senior executive. Exceptional organisation skills: structured, disciplined and able to bring clarity in a high-change environment. Strong written and verbal communication -- able to write on behalf of the Director in a polished, concise and credible tone. High discretion, confidentiality, and personal integrity -- trusted with sensitive information. Advanced competence in Office 365 and cloud-based admin tools. A proactive, anticipatory mindset -- you don't wait to be asked; you move things forward. High EQ, strong judgement, and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Confident working independently and managing competing priorities. Basic bookkeeping capability.

Desirable

Experience in HR administration or project coordination. Exposure to the care, education, or social impact sectors.
