We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ELC Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to provide nurturing support to children in a safe and stimulating environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering the development of each child.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education principles.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on the best outcomes for children.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, and play activities.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the childcare setting.
Skills
Experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or similar environment.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
This post requires relevant qualifications. PVG check and SSSC registration.
