We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Level 3 Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children during their formative years. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help support children's development, encourage curiosity, and promote positive learning experiences. You will work closely with colleagues and families to ensure each child's individual needs are met with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in line with early years curriculum standards.
Observe and assess children's progress regularly, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning and support individual learning goals.
Create a safe, welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including hygiene protocols and risk assessments.
Support children during daily routines such as mealtimes, nap times, dressing, and personal care with patience and encouragement.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaborative teamwork.
Promote inclusive practices that respect diverse backgrounds and individual needs of all children.
Maintain accurate documentation of children's development or other designated record-keeping tools.
Skills
Strong understanding of child development principles within the early years age range.
Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure children's safety at all times.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
Ability to implement structured activities while remaining flexible to children's interests and needs.
Familiarity with early years curriculum frameworks such as EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
