Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for children. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage both staff and children with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities



Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development in accordance with early years standards. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as necessary to enhance their skills. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns or queries regarding their child's progress. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the nursery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times. Drive initiatives that promote a positive nursery culture, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Ensure all staff, students and volunteers adhere to all the settings policies and procedures at all time. To promote and maintain our reputation for providing exemplary practice. To ensure that foremost the safeguarding of children and staff is of up most priority, Responsible for the recruitment of all childcare and non childcare staff. To meet targeted occupancy levels set by the company director. To ensure the provision is of the highest quality at all times and strive to attain the highest ratings such as Ofsted ''Outstanding''.

Skills



Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication with children, parents, and staff. Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications or experience in a nursery setting. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences while ensuring their safety and well-being. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Experience of managing, supervising and appraising staff. To promote continual personal development throughout the staff team. Have the ability to think critically along with the needs of the nursery at any given time. At least 3 years managerial experience is essential to the role. Able to work in a busy, fast paced setting.

Pay: 35,360.00-40,000.00 per year
