Early Years Practitioner - Nursery Practitioner | Brighton, BN1

Salary:

12.50-14.50 per hour (26,000-30,160 per year, depending on qualifications and experience)

Hours:

Full-time or part-time | 30-40 hours per week | Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (typical shifts: 8-5, 9-6, 7-4)

We are seeking a

qualified Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner

to join our welcoming nursery in Brighton, BN1.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 1-2. Act as a key person, observing, planning, and supporting children's learning and development. Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring excellent communication. Deliver stimulating and engaging activities in line with the

EYFS framework

. Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment both indoors and outdoors.

About You

Minimum

Level 2 Early Years qualification

(Level 3 preferred, full and relevant). Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to inclusive practice. Eligible to work in the UK with a clear DBS check.
