Job Overview



The

ECO4 Administrator

will play a vital role in supporting the operational efficiency of our growing energy-efficiency business. You will manage key administrative tasks, coordinate communications, and support internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects that align with our environmental and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities



General office administration, including filing, data entry, and document management

Manage email and phone communications, acting as the first point of contact

Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required

Maintain internal records and databases (e.g. CRM systems, project trackers)

Assist in compiling reports, presentations, and correspondence

Liaise with suppliers, partners, and clients professionally

Ensure compliance with company policies and eco-industry regulations

Provide ad-hoc administrative support across departments

Customer Booking & Coordination (Key Focus)



Call customers to book and confirm retrofit surveys, installations, and follow-up visits

Accurately log appointments and update CRM/project tracking systems

Send reminders and handle rescheduling to keep projects on schedule

Provide friendly, clear information about ECO4 processes and next steps

Essential Skills & Experience



Proven experience in an administrative, scheduling, or customer service role

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Strong telephone manner and clear verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and cloud-based tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Asana)

High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Interest in or commitment to environmental and sustainability issues

Desirable Experience -



Experience in the eco, sustainability, or energy-efficiency sector

Familiarity with CRM systems or project management software

Knowledge of ECO4, GBIS, or similar energy-efficiency schemes

Understanding of environmental regulations or certifications (ISO 14001, PAS 2035, etc.)

Salary:

26,000 -28,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working while office location is finalised (eventually full-time office-based in the North East)
