We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Ecommerce Content Executive to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll support product listings, SEO, and digital content across two B2B brands, helping to ensure our websites remain accurate, engaging, and optimised.
This is a great opportunity for someone at an early stage in their career who's looking to build on existing experience in digital content or ecommerce - whether gained through a previous role, relevant work experience, or hands-on projects - in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
You'll play a key role in maintaining and optimising product and website content across our digital platforms, supporting both the Martindale Electric and Instrotech brands. Initially, the role will focus on working through a product content backlog for Instrotech. Once this is stabilised, the role will expand to include broader content creation--covering website updates, blogs, email campaigns, and social media--supporting SEO and engagement efforts across both brands.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to build hands-on experience across a range of digital marketing channels, while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team.
Key responsibilities include:
Product & Website Ecommerce Content Management
Add, update, and maintain product listings (descriptions, specifications, imagery, pricing).
Perform regular site audits to identify and correct outdated or inaccurate content.
Manage website content such as banners, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to gather accurate product data and assets.
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all product listings and website updates.
Digital Content Creation & Planning
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for our email and social media channels.
Contribute ideas and copy for engaging content that supports product launches, campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
SEO & Analytics
Support recommended keyword research and implement on-page SEO improvements.
Use tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to track content performance.
Help report on key content metrics (traffic, engagement, keyword trends)
Collaboration & Team Support
Work closely with the wider marketing and sales teams to deliver content requirements.
Provide day-to-day support to the marketing function and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuity across the team.
Ideal Candidate:
1-2 years' experience in digital content, ecommerce, or a related marketing role (recent graduates with relevant experience and enthusiasm will also be considered).
Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and ecommerce platforms such as Magento or WooCommerce.
Some experience with email marketing platforms.
Comfortable using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console) to track performance.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong organisational and communication skills; a collaborative and reliable team player.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
