Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented E-Commerce Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing online sales channels, optimising product listings, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your organisational and communication skills within a fast-paced digital environment. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving sales growth through effective online merchandising and customer engagement strategies.

In the summer when welly sales quieten down. We go on the road exhibiting at events up and down the country, so you'll be required to take the lead on this role. It involves driving a Luton van and selling wellies face-to-face. So you must have a driving licence

Responsibilities



Manage and optimise product listings across various e-commerce platforms to maximise visibility and sales potential. Develop and implement upselling strategies to increase average order value and customer retention. Monitor online sales performance, analyse data, and generate reports to inform business decisions. Coordinate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and content that attract and engage customers. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely updates of product information. Provide exceptional guest services by responding promptly to customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback. Organise online promotions, discounts, and special offers to boost sales during peak periods. Utilise excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Experience



Proven experience in e-commerce management or digital retail environments. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Demonstrable experience in upselling techniques and increasing sales through online channels. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service excellence. Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is advantageous, especially within restaurant or hotel sectors. Familiarity with fundraising activities or community engagement initiatives is a plus. Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring exceptional time management abilities is preferred.
