Position Summary
The E-commerce and Social Media Executive will manage and grow DORIX's e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, and other relevant marketplaces) and elevate our social media presence. This role requires a blend of creative content development skills, tactical e-commerce management, digital marketing acumen, and meticulous adherence to DORIX's brand guidelines. The right candidate will also spearhead online marketing campaigns, coordinate events and PR initiatives, and ensure all communications reflect DORIX's commitment to innovation and premium quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-commerce Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of DORIX's online stores (Amazon, Shopify, and additional platforms).
Create, optimise, and monitor product listings to drive traffic and conversion.
Coordinate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Implement pricing, promotions, and cross-selling strategies aligned with sales targets.
Track and analyse key metrics (e.g., sales performance, conversion rates, return on ad spend).
2. Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
Develop and execute a social media roadmap across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels, aligning with DORIX's "Beyond Access" brand promise.
Produce high-quality, on-brand content (text, images, short videos) that showcases DORIX's products, solutions, and smart access/security expertise.
Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and cultivate an online community that reflects DORIX's brand values.
Monitor trends, hashtags, and best practices to keep content fresh and innovative.
3. Marketing Campaigns & PR
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (email, social ads, influencer partnerships, etc.) to enhance brand awareness and drive lead generation.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales & Marketing to set campaign objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate with external agencies or partners for press releases, PR events, trade shows, and conferences that align with our brand image.
Draft and distribute press materials, ensuring consistent brand tone and messaging.
4. Events & Promotions
Support or lead the organisation of brand events, product launches, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
Ensure all event-related branding and collateral adhere to DORIX's corporate identity guidelines (fonts, colours, tagline usage).
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to create cohesive, on-brand experiences.
5. Analytics & Reporting
Track and measure KPIs across e-commerce platforms and social media channels (sales data, conversion rates, customer engagement).
Provide periodic reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve ROI, and optimise resource allocation.
6. Brand Integrity & Corporate Identity
Maintain strict consistency with DORIX's Corporate Identity Policy.
Collaborate cross-functionally to guarantee that all online content, marketing materials, and communications align with DORIX's brand philosophy and visual standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Min 4 years of proven experience in e-commerce management and social media marketing. Experience in the technology or security sectors is a plus.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify).
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics).
Full understanding of SEO/SEM, digital advertising, and email marketing platforms.
Soft Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling product descriptions and social media copy.
Strong creative flair and eye for visual design, ensuring on-brand aesthetics.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Data-driven mindset capable of turning insights into actionable strategies.

Additional Pluses
Familiarity with basic graphic design or photography/videography for content creation.
