We are looking for new Online Shop & eBay Volunteers to join our team at Oxfam Darlington Charity Shop!

We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy researching and listing clothing, books, records and bric-a-brac for Oxfam's online shop and eBay account. If you would enjoy an office based role as part of a growing e-commerce team, this could be the ideal opportunity for you! The role will involve researching items to determine their sale value, writing descriptions, and using listing tools on the appropriate online sales platform. You may also be asked to help with preparing sold items to despatch, and maintaining the inventory in the online stock room.

This role will be ideal for someone who:

Is able to work independently within a large team; Has an interest in Online Retailing; Has existing basic IT skills and a willingness to learn; Is able to use various websites to research the value of items, or is willing to learn; Has good attention to detail, and a good standard of written English; Is available to work a minimum of 1 4 hour shift per week, on a flexible rota.
