About the Role
As an Education Social Worker / Education Welfare Officer, you'll play a vital role in promoting regular school attendance and supporting learners who are facing barriers to education. You'll work closely with families, schools, and partner agencies to assess needs, develop strategies, and implement interventions that help children re-engage with learning.
This is a varied and rewarding role.
What We're Looking For
You will have a professional qualification in Social Work or a relevant degree
Experience working directly with children, young people, and families
Strong knowledge of education legislation and safeguarding practices
Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
