Overview:

Electrical Assembler required for a professional and well-established manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in Halifax (HX2). The company have a niche and evolving product range and an excellent reputation. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, long-standing company supplying their machines to a wide range of industries.

This role consists of wiring, assembling and testing machinery and other sub-assemblies, along with adjustments and modifications to existing machines. You will be part of a skilled team of both mechanical and electrical assemblers in order to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner. This role is suitable for those looking for a position that varies day to day, is able to be flexible / multi task and is a team player.

Responsibilities

Wiring and assembly of bespoke machinery containing: motors, pumps, actuators, control panels and various other electrical components Follow electrical schematics to wire machines to the required specification Test and PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) to ensure machines are built and tested to the required safety and operational standards (training will be provided) Work to a high level of detail to ensure machines are produced to a quality standard Utilize various power and hand tools Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support build objectives Comply with company standards regarding health and safety and other company guidelines/policies

Requirements

Electrical machine assembly experience required Engineering qualification desirable Willingness to transfer and learn new skills as required for the role Have good fitness and dexterity as working at all levels will be required Mentoring and supporting Apprentices
