Job Overview



Pulse Electrix Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Electrical Estimator

to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates across a variety of electrical projects. This role demands a strong understanding of cost control, attention to technical detail, and the ability to analyse project plans and specifications efficiently.

You'll collaborate directly with the Managing Director, Business Development Manager & office manager to support both pre-construction and live project planning phases.

Key Responsibilities



Review

technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents

to develop detailed and competitive estimates Perform

take-offs

and

scale measurements

from electrical drawings (manual or software-based) Analyse labour, material, equipment, and overhead costs for both domestic and commercial projects Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to

gather competitive pricing

Prepare and present comprehensive

quotation packages and cost breakdowns

to management Identify potential

value engineering opportunities

and

project risks

Track ongoing project costs and support cost control measures Work closely with the MD to support handovers and planning

Qualifications & Experience



Proven experience as an Estimator (preferably in the

electrical, construction, or building services

sector) Excellent attention to detail and

strong numerical/analytical skills

Ability to

interpret electrical drawings, schedules, and specifications

Comfortable using estimation tools/software (or willingness to learn) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly

Excel

) Strong verbal and written communication skills for meetings and client interactions Relevant qualifications in

electrical engineering, estimating, or construction management

are desirable but not essential

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year

Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
