We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in electrical maintenance and project management. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising a team of electricians while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
Supervise and manage a team of electricians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to facilitate project execution.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
Implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project plans.
Requirements
Proven experience in an electrical supervisory role with a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
Demonstrated management skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively.
Proficiency in project management techniques, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
Previous experience working with schematics is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical documentation accurately.
