We're now looking for a

trade-qualified electrician

who's ready to step off the tools and into a more technical, supervisory, and compliance-focused role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong electrical knowledge who wants to grow into a leadership and office-based career.

The Role



As our Electrical Supervisor for electrical, you'll play a key role in ensuring our installations are

safe, compliant, and high quality

. You'll lead on audits, sign-offs, and technical oversight, while also supporting our field and office teams with your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:



Audit electrical installations carried out by our in-house teams and subcontractors. Sign off Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works Certificates in line with

BS7671, NICEIC, and MCS

requirements. Work alongside the Operations Manager to maintain and improve safe working practices and installation standards. Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to our electrical installation teams. Conduct site surveys (domestic and small commercial) to establish cable routes and installation methods. Review survey images and ensure installation plans meet Boxergy's standards. Produce

RAMS

in line with

CDM regulations

. Specify job requirements and materials for installations. Oversee selected commercial projects from design through to completion. Support our customer service and installations teams with technical queries. Travel to sites as required to provide oversight or support.

Skills & Requirements



Qualifications (required):



NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)

Desirable:



EV Charging (2919) Solar PV qualifications/experience

The ideal candidate will:



Be a trade-qualified electrician ready to step off the tools and into a more office/leadership role. Have strong knowledge of electrical installations, inspection, and testing. Be detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills. Be confident in dealing with both customers and team members. Have experience supervising or mentoring electricians. Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to solve problems logically under pressure.
