We are based in Solihull, West Midlands and operate across the UK. Specialising in commercial and industrial electrical installations including communications, network and security systems. Over the years we have gained an extensive knowledge of the industry; due to our expert knowledge and experience we work across a variety of industries including telecommunications, leisure, and commercial businesses.

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring maintenance and installation tasks are completed safely and efficiently, working on the tools where required and supervising projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in electrical systems, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. The Electrical Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure high performance and safety compliance. You will be working on large commercial contracts and will be a key point of contact for our customers. You will be able to understand project requirements, meet deadlines and run the team; as well as being on the tools where required. You will have suitable electrical qualifications, experience working in electrical installation and maintenance as well as experience working with data points, CCTV and door access systems. Review technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting activities. Ensure all work adheres to relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and minimise downtime during maintenance activities. Supervise the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports on project progress, safety incidents, and compliance records. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to foster professional development within the team.

Skills and experience



Proven management experience with strong leadership qualities. Extensive project management skills on commercial projects with the ability to oversee multiple tasks efficiently. Managing stock levels, purchasing stock, managing waste and control usage for the projects Understanding of wider building systems such as data points, fibre optics, IT, electronic and networking systems Compile RAMs and documentation specific to each project. Strong understanding of electrical maintenance procedures and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
