Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor with experience in a social housing enviroment to oversee electrical operations within our organisation.

This role involves supervising electrical maintenance, project management, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our electrical infrastructure, contributing to the ongoing success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely Oversee electrical maintenance programmes, including routine inspections and repairs Manage electrical projects from planning through to execution, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met Interpret and work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings Programme and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise operational processes Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth project integration and operational continuity Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to health and safety policies

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within an electrical environment, ideally within a housing association Strong background in electrical systems, maintenance, and repair procedures Extensive knowledge of project management principles applied to electrical projects Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding integrated systems
